HTML is much more than bold and italic. People would get fancy ideas how to simulate the back cover and would try to integrate those ideas into the online database. We already have the graphical representation of the back cover. Therefore the overview should be kept as simple plain text. Let's get rid of those imaginary quotes and do not simulate the ALL CAPS eye catcher the marketing and graphic people have used to increase DVD sales. |

Is that REALLY gonna affect the way you read the overview? Most times I read the overview (even when purchasing) so I have an idea as to what the movie is about.
It would be so much easier to to compile the overview without having to take so much time to see if you remembered to put a (') around the word to show what it is.
Also might make it easier for voting as the only things you would really have to look for would be spelling, whether a word should be in capital letters or in parentheses.

I don't think HTML is a good idea because people would start adding images, backgrounds, tables, links etc. I think the best and simplest solution would be to use an RTF TextBox (RTF=Rich Text Format) instead of the current regular TextBox.
