I just added the new Aliens 4K-UHD Blu-Ray to my collection and uploaded my updated collection to the DVD Profiler Online. When viewing my collection via (www.invelos.com/dvdcollection.aspx/[userid]) I'm getting a runtime error just on the 4k entry for Aliens. The Blu-Ray version in the boxset doesn't have the problem. I tried removing the entry from my collection and re-entering it but I get the same error regardless. Hoping someone could help me understand why this is happening.
Server Error in '/' Application. Runtime Error Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine. | Posted: Topic Replies: 0, Topic Views: 3 | | Thank you for this link. Holding down the CTL key while clicking the Refresh Online Profile button did the trick for me. Downloaded close to a 39MB update. | Posted: Topic Replies: 2, Topic Views: 242 | | I'm a long-time user of DVD Profiler but this is the first time I have tried to add a movie that was not in the database. Picked up the newly released 4K-UHD version of Irving Berlin's White Christmas this week. When I tried to add it to my local collection (using both UPC and Title options) I did not see this new edition in the database. I took the option to add it to my local collection by entering all the information I could find on the back side of the slip case. I selected the option to submit this new profile to the online database. I was surprised when I got a pop-up stating that this edition was already in the database (first added in September with a submission update in November when the disc actually released).
My question is why this edition was not showing in the Invelos database when I first tried to add it? Is there a waiting period before a new submission is final approved and added to the database? This is my first time to make a submission so was not sure if I had done something wrong.
Thanks, Clark | Posted: Topic Replies: 2, Topic Views: 242 | | Thanks for the response GSyren! I wouldn't plan to use it either but just wanted to make sure there wasn't something wrong with the mobile sync. My main use case is to be able to see my collection when I am out shopping so that I don't accidentality buy something I already have. Plus, it lets me know if I don't have the 4k version of a disc in case I want to upgrade.
Clark | Posted: Topic Replies: 2, Topic Views: 350 | | Been a long time user of DVD Profiler on my PC but never messed with the IOS mobile app. Picked it up over the weekend and was able to download my collection from the cloud. That all seemed to work OK. As I began playing with the app I went to the Charts tab and discovered that I cannot see any charts on either of the 3 chart tabs. Does the chart function on the IOS mobile app no longer work?
Thanks. | Posted: Topic Replies: 2, Topic Views: 350 | |
