| | Posted: | | | | Apparently, the contribution and voting system is having hickups :
1. I regularly get updates for profiles that have never appeared in my list of contributions to vote on.
2. In my own contributions (in My Profiler) there are recent submissions that simply have disappeared, most notably image submissions.
Anyone else having these ? |

| | Posted: | | | | Just saw that happen to me also today. Was trying to find out why it been denied for half an hour, checking disc and cover if something was wrong. But then I saw from DVDprofiler I can check contributed and there it says approved. But in list it is gone. |

Don't forget they have to be in your online list to vote on but if they are local (and not online) they will still be updated if there is a release made without you seeing it. | | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

the contributions now show only last 30 days. Well, it was one of my most recent contributions. They didn't show up in the database either, but in fact that's normal since apparently the submission was accepted. The only way I could tell was to try to resubmit and then I noticed in the history that my cover scans were accepted. No trace of them in My Profiler | Contributions... |

They were images only, and later an update came down without the images, and the database data was still the same. The contributions also disappeared from my personal contributions page after they were sent out as an update. |

But if you click on the contribution notes, the information is there with the approval date. Mine were images only as well. | | | | Lori |

3. Sometimes I see different contributors in the Contributors link than I see in the history that is shown when submitting your changes. Maybe this is due to 2.4 having been merged into the 3.0 database ?
4. Sometimes when I submit changes, I notice that the online profile was already changed, even though I was never prompted to download these updates. As a result, I now always first refresh the profile before doing any changes.
5. When previewing (before download) new contributions (i.e. updated profiles) I often notice that fields are marked as different while they are exactly the same. E.g. production year. Also, quite often the change is just a difference in the order, e.g. for subtitles. |

| | Posted: | | | | snap...have posted updates for a few images recently, as soon as voting time ends the contribution disappears from my list of contributed submissions. Had to go through local database / View Contributors to find out if accepted or not.

| | Posted: | | | | Yes, this happened to one of mine yesterday as well which was an image only contribution. I'm not at home so don't have the program to check but whenever it's happened before the update hasn't appeared on the View Contributors list either.
I know the updates are being released and keep track of my contributions with a local flag list anyway so it's not a problem for me, but it might cause some confusion to those who rely on the contributions tab in My Profiler if their updates are seemingly disappearing without explanation.
