I would say that to use the Middle Name here is for any part of the name that isn't part of the given name or surname but the poll doesn't really offer this except using it regardless of country.

The country isn't the deciding matter in the long run, it's the parents who named the child.

No "Other (please explain)" option in this poll?

Another "bias", though, is that users might vote according to the usage in their own country, that seems obvious and "neutral"  to their eyes

I would like that. But then, in countries that do not generally use a "middle name", I guess it should not be used, unless you can determine it actually is a middle name.

DVD Profiler has nothing to do with anyone's particular culture or religion...it's all about the DATA...period.

Parse as seen ie A/B/C unless you can document otherwise.
