Add the child profiles by inserting the DVD's and adding by Disc ID.  Then manually assign them as a child object to the parent profile.

And of course there's no guarantee it'll find it by disc id...

Yes, but with c:a 3000 titles I first need to identify which ones need children added, then dig out the actual DVDs...

It's not actually that hard.

99% of the TV series are parent/child.  So go for those first.

Very true, the entire ST: Enterprise TV series fit into that category when I tried it.  So I added them.

Adding new child profiles is mostly copy-n-paste though it's really manual eyeball-n-type.  I took a screenshots of the parent profile and duplicated the information in the new child profiles and adjusted the special features where needed.

Speaking of those profiles, they don't have any cast/crew info either.  That was before I got brave.

Scan through your collection and look for movies that has an incomplete cast listed.

Then add them!

There shouldn't be many, in my 300+ collection, I only found five.  Went ahead and did the crew for those except for BluRay Ghost Rider because I couldn't locate it.

Scanned through my collection (+/- 1000) and found about 110 incomplete profiles, mostly missing crew only, but some missing cast as well. This is not counting the Television series. I call that many

Updated and contributed 4, hey it's a start

I've started going through and auditing my Overviews too to make sure they match the existing cover scan.

Doesn't CoO need source?  I thought it did but I'm seeing a lot of CoO submissions with lots of yes votes but no source.

Don't know about anybody else, but I don't vote on COO at all.

Yeah, I've been voting neutral on those without sources.

For COO - I usually check the DVD and if it's right I vote yes.
