I'll update the first post for a master list.  So don't edit your entries to add items from here on out.

I'm getting fairly good results with laminator pouches. A little darker than I'd like but pretty clear overall. I use Peach brand pouches if that helps.

World Trade Center (097361-199849) HD - already sumbitted as is the BD of The Lookout, since neither of the existing scans had banners

Mission Impossible Collection (097361-199344) HD - rear only, reflective surface on the front is pretty weak

Hi,

I guess this fits in here best: when I create a new profile for an announced title, I normally take the picture from the press release or an online shop until I can scan it properly. But with the new banner display feature this won't work since press releases or pictures at online shops normally have pictures with banner. Is it okay to still use them until I or someone else has a chance to scan the cover or should profiles of newly announced titles be submitted without a cover?
Bye,
Elwood

With pre-release art, go ahead and crop off the banner and submit sleeveless.

Yes, we're allowed to use press release images for pre-release DVDs, and we just replace them with proper scans when the disc comes out.

Although you shouldn't submit anything with a website's watermarks, or etailer site webfinds with those "copyrighted material" stamps on them.

While I'm here...

The new banner display feature will work with press releases and scans/pictures of the HD case with the banner.  Just choose the HD Case type and check the slip cover box and the display banner will not be used until an appropriate scan is chosen at the proper time.

Not quite yet, I'll update the rules and inform the evaluators of the change when the public release is imminent.
