Synner man gave you a couple of examples that I have looked into in the past. Were it not for your plug-in...but that doesn't change my opinion that such is beyond the scope of a $30 piece of software. You have simply decided to provide something for free that the market thinks is worth a LOT of money. But that is your choice.

So what is the point of your post? People have been doing the "such" (play files and trailers) with HTML pages all along. With my plugin, it was an add-on. Its original and main purpose was / is changer support. It's just that there are more hard drives than changers, so its secondary purpose became dominant. I have nothing against money - plugins don't have to be "free."
Thanks for your support.

Cinemar is one option that quickly comes to mind.  DVDLobby Pro actually supports DVD Profiler, IIRC.

Cinemar supports DVDP 2.x unless someone updated the import routines.  There's the plugin to export a 2.x XML file though.

Doc:

I haven't looked extensively but there are some references to 3.x being compatible with Cinemar. One of the largest issues i caught was the movement of the images files.

This is one of several such programs i am looking at for possible future integration.
