Not much I can do about that, except that my other import conversions create manual profiles in that case, so that field isn't blank. I should do the same for CZ, so at least we avoid those nasty exceptions when such a profile is selected for editing. Thanks for the feedback. | | | Thanks for your support. Sorry, but I don't know if understand correct. Let's say you have ... 101 Dexter: Season 1 .... 213 Dexter: Season 2 ... You want to leave the collection number in the time line you bought them? But you want also to have them grouped together? You can sort your collection list if you click on "title" above your collection list, then it should be listed abc: ... 101 Dextor: Season 1 213 Dextor: Season 2 ... A different way would be to make a manual profile (Add by title and uncheck "Download from Invelos"). Then you could add all the Dextor Seasons as local Box Set. |

| Posted: | | | | no no , taking your example 101 dexter season 1 and 213 dexter season 2 how do i move them together so it reads 101 dexter season1 and 102 dexter season3 and then keep all the others after so they still in proper sequence ie 103 ,104 etc then at a later dater add say dexter season4 with the number 103 so it is inserted next to the other two , , i hope that explains it better | | | Last edited: by bobbie crofts |

The way I'd do this is to make "Dexter season one"- disc One the Parent and then 'box set' all your Dexter children of discs and seasons (underneath master or Parent) with its own collection number., & by keeping the 'purchase dates' in order from oldest to newest your Dexter titles will always be together chronologically and with its own identity number.. | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Every profile has a sort title. You open the profile for editing (double-click) and then edit the sort title.
Afterwards you can re-assign the collection numbers via the Collection menu. Never done this, but this does re-assign all profiles in your collection, correct? So if sorted alphabetically the other collections numbers also change, so the collection number loses the order of purchase date. Edit: Removed a part of the post, because the idea didn't work. Edit 2: What's the reason why you want to have the numbers of the Dexter Seasons exactly in this order? Is it because of the grouping? | | | Last edited: by VirusPil |

| Posted: | | | | Ok i sorted it all out , It was surprisingly easy once i realisided what i was doing and how things were set out , being a somewhat older collector it takes time to teach me new tricks lol , i am just doing some finishing touches to the database (many thanks mediadogg) and to all the others who helped
As soon as i have completed it i will upload it for you to see and make a set of notes to show how it was done and how i did all the ones that media edit didnt fix, and the very easy (once you know) ways to sort it out
many thanks to you all
