Here is the rule for TV Series credits: Complete Series/Season & Anthologies of Episodes – List all Cast Members for a TV Series appropriately. Use the Divider feature to indicate episode divisions.

The rule says to use the dividers to indicate episode divisions.  Nothing more, nothing less.  There is nothing, I could find, in the rules that says to use dividers to show which side of the disc a particular episode is on.

On a personal level, I honestly don't see the need for it.  Disc number and side should be in the overview as part of the 'simple episode list'.  I don't get why this needs to be any harder than it has to be.
No dictator, no invader can hold an imprisoned population by force of arms forever.
There is no greater power in the universe than the need for freedom.
Against this power, governments and tyrants and armies cannot stand.
The Centauri learned this lesson once.
We will teach it to them again.
Though it take a thousand years, we will be free.

BTW, before any of you make the anticipated snide comment, this fact and I have proven it numerous times, by taking positions the opposite of what I might really think the correct answer and the results are very predictable from many users, some in particular, if I offer a position then the Community led by Rick, James and a few others  will go the other way. So all i can say is....GOTCHA!!!!

Maybe I'm reading something wrong? No offense intended at all, but you take sides based on the opposite of what you really might think in order to... prove someone wrong? And this leads to?

Not at all. This has been Skip's claim for quite some time. Anytime some of us disagree with him it is only because it is him. This is some type of paranoia he has that we get together in a "back room" somewhere to plan our attacks against him.

Just because he continuously profess this doesn't make it a fact.

It doesn't, and now 61  members agree with you and only 3 still don't.

It's a big deal because one of the three is Skip, and if Skips thinks something is right it doesn't matter what the rest of the community thinks... you know this already as he has done this many many times.

So you invent positions to see if "we're" out to get you.  You need to move out of Washington DC

Does it occur to you that if you hadn't invented the position you would of found out we agreed with you on those occasions

I completely agree. I don't see support for this in the current rules. I don't wish for the rules to be changed to allow it, and I don't see support from others to allow it either.

You've just created a serious credibility problem for any of your arguments, including this one.

Well that is completely stupid. I can see no logical reason to do that, unless you want to cause trouble.

I was not aware that Rick had any objective here! Rick, you need to be more clear when stating your objectives in future! How can we help if we don't know.

So you don't like it, but are going to do it yourself.... can you say hypocrite???

Get of your high horse Skippy, maybe consider that people disagree because they think your ideas and opinions are wrong. If you happily accepted a majority and moved on (rather than causing a huge stink and demand people convice you - like here), and did not make unilateral decisions about contributions then you would not have all the disagreements in the forum that you do.

But, I know I waste my breathe... so moving on...

*Cough*, actually no, the info for disc number and side doesn't belong into the simple list of episodes, either. It does belong to the tab that is meant for this kind of info: the "Discs" tab - and the "Discs" tab only.

*Cough* then let's revist the whole Episode deal, after all MOST of that is pure redudant that is located elsewhere in the program. Like all the Widescreen Collections form Paramount that for the most part were a single release. We don't need Widescreen unless it ACTUALLY delineates itself from a FF Cousin, the Widescreen data is already in the program and is therefore totally unnecessary in most instances.

Same argument, same issue. Trust me I am not saying what i am thinking., I won't even give a clue.

You won't get an argument from me re: 'widescreen' as an edition.  I don't use them in my local because, well, that is all I buy.    Unfortunately, the rules specifically mention 'widescreen' and 'collections' as valid edition descriptors.  I can't argue against what is specifically given as an example in the rules.

If your argument is admittedly false, there's no point in addressing your 'points'.

I would never add "Widescreen Collection" to a profile.

Not that this has anything to do with this discussion...
