Hey,

can I change the folder of Droid DVDP?
Now the folder is on the intern SD-card, but I want it on the external SD-card.

Can you realise that?

Thanks.

Greets,
Andi

@Godfather Dave : yes. Disk location is already in DB, but I had no time to include it in the application.
@threadstone : I will study that. Can you tell me make/brand of your device ?
@Fingerlakes Dave : I've seen this glitch, but could not resolve it in this release. Strange behavior of android layouts.

@kitarolivier: I have a Galaxy S2 (GT-I9100) with Android 4.1.2

I just have another problem. For some weeks I have a SD-card in my device. Now I installed the new version and Droid DVDP doesn't find my Data. So I exported them again but nothing happens.
The data are all at "/storage/sdcard0/droid_dvdp/" and the path in Droid DVDP is also correct, but in the app I don't see anything - just a black screen with "Droid DVDP" above and the numbers / characters on the right.
Also the App closes after a while with an error "Droid DVDP angehalten" / "Droid DVDP stopped".

I will delete the app and the path on the intern SD-card and all other files I find and install it again. I hope it helps.

EDIT: So - I reinstalled the app but my collection won't be shown. But in collection stats are 589 DVD's/Blu-Ray's.

Can anybody help me?

EDIT 2: Nothing works. When I start Droid DVDP I get the error "Droid DVDP stopped". Delete and reinstall don't helps.

OK, installed both files.  The folder DVDP_IS_HERE is not there.  Tried to create the file but the Exporter (Use Removable Disk) will not recognise it.

ADB ran for 45 mins before I shut it off.

So... I installed v0.91 from a backup and it all works again. So I think the v0.92 has a problem, but I don't know what.

You gotta love Norton! NOT!

Just run the file on the machine you need to. It's not a virus. Honest!

As for ABD running 45 minutes: 1) you have to be in disk drive/device mode 2) There is what looks like a drop down menu. That should populate with the phone ID (you may need the button to the right). 3) Yes it takes a LONG time, and for me never finds dvdp_is_here.

Did you run Droid DVDP once, and get the black screen? This automatically sets up the folder structure on the micro SD card. That should be the last new letter on your machine.

Were you able to get your phone in disk mode? The folder should be on the micro SD card NOT the main memory. . That is when you use "Use removable disk"

See what you can do this info, and we'll go from here.

OK. Just add it to the list for next release, that and the SD, B indicator.  I almost thought that was what was causing the issue, except nothing was there.

About the plugin: I finally got ABG to detect and run on my phone. 1) It takes 1+ hour 2) Zero result.
The scan starts in the /sys/... section and never drops into the regular folders.
From running the DOS box, I get most of the results come back stating locked or blocked. ??. I don't know enough about Android to be able to interpret this.

Have a Happy Holiday!

Sort by title isn't sorting as I'd expected.

I'd expect it to sort by 'sorttitle' but in fact it will sort by 'title' ('A chinese ghost story' is sorted in front of 'A.I.').
Jumping to 'C' with the links on the right side it will jump to the first movie which 'sorttilte' begins with a 'C', so it will jump to 'A chinese ghost story'. I have to scroll a lot to get to the next 'C'-movie.

Even worse 'U' will jump to '... und dann kam Polly' which is one of the first titles in the list right now (because of the dots), while it should be one of the last ones (because it's sorttitle is 'unddannkampolly').

I'm running b0.92.

@pelikan : sorry, I don't keep history of previous versions . As it works for others, it should also work for you. Uninstall previous version (delete data) and be sure to export your collection, as there are changes in the DB structure.

For all users :
This was the last beta of Droid DVDP : the next version will be version 1.0 and will cost only $55.00 via paypal. More informations tomorrow.

Regards,

Olivier.
