Skip, I mean this in the most sincere way, but your words would sound a lot less hollow if you didn't use "unnecessary and inflammatory" words in your respond to criticism.  I was taught early on that "two wrongs don't make a right" and I truly believe you'd get less hostility aimed at you if you toned down your invective.  What you ARE accomplishing with your responses is driving more and more people into the other camp.  I don't deny that you are frequently flamed unfairly.  But responding in kind is counterproductive - and won't win you any good marks once the new system goes live.

As I have said before, I understand what you are saying, but with very few exceptions. People here live by a double standard, let's pound Skip for anything he says, while we ignore the misbehavior of others which usually are what starts it. I will defend myself, as long as this continues, in whatever way i deem fit, and when the new system goes into action, then i will have a new tool with which to work...and I will.

Yeah, and I remember another voting system that they (same they) turned into a game, Unicus. Sadly the hypocrisy reeks, but it is what it is, some of them even carry their sorry behavior tactics and agendas to their voting habits, which is purely pathetic to see. They even vote as a bloc a lot of times.

Your comments are also why I am concerned about just how effective this will be, knowing the users i refer to it could very easily simply become a form of censorship to minimize the impact of any user who would dare to disagree with them.

Because there will be penalties for abuse, I am not concerned.  Then again, I have a completely different view of the people in this forum.
