Ahm... is this thread spinning out of control or is it just me?

I don't think it's very nice to be judged by the amount of contributions one makes. I mean, if Hal with 900 contributions is being referred to as being not useful, I don't know what my mediocre 5 contributions look like, some sort of atrocious act.

Just recently I decided to start contributing because I thought it would be fun. However, I have a small collection compared to others and most of my profiles have already been submitted. I work full time and I travel a lot, so I just simply do not have a lot of time to submit tons of profiles, and I'm sure tons of users are in this same situation. If one is deemed not useful for it, well it is a bit discouraging, I believe.

Aren't we all here because we love movies and we are obsessed with our dvd's? Sadly, I have seen lots of threads like this one, where everything becomes personal vendettas against X users and then nothing gets solved.

"Live by the sword, die by the sword"...  Frankly, what is that? Are we back into medieval? Blackmail, abuse, privileges, personal attacks, nastiness, contemptible behavior, forcing preferences unto users... If we include infidelity, suicide and murder, this little film noir will be complete.

And all because of a miserable 'No' vote. Deal with it, people.
Funny, these cookies don't taste anything like Girl Scouts.

I collect if you would bother to read and comprehend things before trying to just jump in.

The existing data includes automated Contributions that were made when Invelos craked , so at this time they are irrelevant. Get back to us in a year.

Some people just have to try.

You do realize that that is a double edged sword right?  If synner_man's numbers can be ignored, so can yours.  Which means everybody is now on a level playing field.

The only one I've ever seen bring it up is Skip. Some of us throw numbers back at him, but I don't think you'll see any of us throw them at anyone else. I don't care how many people have done. I think that goes for most people. Contribute what you want. I'm grateful to every contributor who saves me some work.

Sorry, but no.  The fact that your 'Epeen' is bigger than my 'Epeen' in no way changes the fact that the playing field is level...unless, of course, we are playing on a hill in which case all bets are off.

If we are to be judged by contributions to invelos I'm in BIG trouble - I have by 1 (yes ONE) accepted contribution.  I am a wonderful human being though - does that count?! Plus I try to be nice to everybody!

How can you say that when your avatar is a bowl of dog stew?

DOG STEW?!?!?!      You don't like my puppies in a laundry basket? They are much cuter when the picture is bigger. I'm going to have to change my avatar now, everytime I see it I'll see dog stew!

First off... I'm sure I just missed it somewhere in the massive marathon posting since yesterday, but exactly what DVD title are we discussing??

I would kind of like to see the DVD case in quesions and make my own mind up as to the "right"ness or "wrong"ness of this contribution.

Laundry basket?!?!?  I really feel stupid.
I was wondering how you could fit so many puppies in a bowl.
I figured it must have been a really BIG bowl.

My Fair Lady  UPC #085391666820
It was me who brought up this contribution,, again, after it sat in hiatus for three months.
Reason being of course I Hated the rear cover scan and every time I submitted it, someone didn't like it.
It was too small, / too dark, /fuzzy/ crooked etc etc..,      So then Skip emailed me to tell me He was personally going to put me out of my misery and do a new scan and new contribution,

BUT  I had no idea what was to take place after that.
