I don't think I've ever seen this before, but I've watched a movie where the extras are listed directly after the cast credits.

Last castcredit

EXTRAS
Name 1
Name 2 etc.

I was wondering if we should list the extras if they're credited like this. I've seen Invelos members listed themselves when they had a role as extra in a movie. On the other hand, we don't list stuntmen.

The rules say: Use Group dividers to designate cast grouped in the credits such as "Soldiers" or "Additional Cast". In this case substitute Additional Cast for Extras. I just profiled Death House where more than 50 extras are credited under a group heading of Background Artists, directly after the stuntmen. I included them.

My understanding is that extras are non-speaking background performers, while additional  cast are actors with spoken dialog in minor roles. If that is correct, then they are not comparable. Personally I wouldn't include them, but the rules are not clear on that point, I think.

However it's just a list without roles, I think it's safe to say they're indeed non speaking background performers like people sitting in restaurants, pedestrians etc.

I didn't want to influence the topic, but pesonally I agree what you say and I don't think I would have include them either. The majority, on the other hand, wants to include them, so I think I respect that.

I have not voted yet because, whilst I agree that the rules do not prohibit the entry of cast extras, I don't want to add potentially 300+ credited cast extras in a profile (for example, a crowd-funded movie with FAN EXTRAS).

And yes, the fan extras did receive group role names, such as:
- Eaten by a Dinosaur
- Killed by Dinosaur in Close-Up
- Killed by a Dinosaur
- Flee from Dinosaur Attack
- Evil Reptilians
and so on.

Or do we exclude FAN EXTRAS from this poll (a fan was just an ordinary citizen, not an actor)?

Can you include them? Sure. Although personally I don’t see the point.

Are you required to include them? Definitely not.

If they are included in the credits, you may list them.  Give them their group header and you're good to go.

There is no requirement to include them, so it's entirely up to you how much you feel like typing and how complete you feel the profile needs to be.
