| Posted: | | | | This may have been addressed before but I've never come across a case quite so difficult:
I believe we normally put the title in as per the Cover... and that the cover (as per the scan Rules) is that of the Slip. What happens if the Slip (which is what should be displayed in the cover images box) doesn't have the title on at all? Should we use the 'Title' off the slip and then just put the actual title in the 'Original Title' box or (for the sake of common sense alphabetical ordering) would the proper title be used as the Title.
For those wondering my specific case is the brand new release of Sneakers (Film Stories edition) from Plumeria Pictures. The cover of the inner case has 'Sneakers' as the title BUT the slip cover is plain other then the words: 'Too Many Secrets' on it (as an aside the back of the slip has no barcode/EAN either, just the line "My voice is my passport. Verify me." | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | IMHO, when all else fails...front or back cover, we use the film credits. | | | Marty - Registered July 10, 2004, User since 2002. |

You're gonna love this: shrink is on the case inside the slip (no shrink over the slip); the slip doesn't have a barcode anywhere and... wait for it... the barcode on the case is one Plumaria Pictures have used before so thre's no way I can make it a unique entry. I think I'll call it Sneakers but since I can't submit and overwrite the other entry (which is correct) I'll keep it local! | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong | | | Last edited: by Voltaire53 |
