| Posted: | | | | Are we now to use <i> , </i> to indicate italics in overviews (Barcode 796019795128), as the rules still say quotes ...just asking |

You might change your mind 5 seconds after receiving the first DVD profile with some nasty JavaScript in it - remember DVD Profiler typically run fully trusted (at least Vista should keep it out of the Program Files folder though). | | | Regards Lars |

| Posted: | | | | If you really wanted to have bold and italics in the overview, you could always create a new HTML Window with this code: Quote:
<HTML> <HEAD> </HEAD> <BODY> <DP NAME="OVERVIEW"> </BODY> </HTML>
And then any HTML tag should work, especially <em> (italics) and <strong> (bold) |

| Posted: | | | | Please do not go down the road of fancy formatted overviews We already have them, they are called backcover scan. The overview should stay text only. I would even remove the quote workaround for italic from the rules. |

| Posted: | | | | Personally I prefer them text only. I can live with bold and italics too, but that's it. No fancy tabling, different sizes, etc. |

| Posted: | | | | I personally wouldn't care if the single quotes for bold and italics were removed from the rules... but I would like to see the ability to use Bold and Italics in the overview (without the need of an html window). | | | Pete |

| Posted: | | | | I support the idea of italics, bolds and maybe underlines in the overviews, as well. It doesn't have to be HTML, Ken kan make his own format like he did for the forums - then there'd be no security issues.

| Posted: | | | | don't change anything. think of the updates.... seriously though, before someone starts educating me, i'm certain it could be done universally if it ever came to it. and unless such an alteration could be handled that way, i'm quite content with the single quote, as Rho said, we have the back cover. krik ps, or does that gibe him 3 vote, skip??? | | | "Vampirism is still not a disease, Julia.
