| Posted: | | | | Is there anyone out there who can give the definitive answer as to what this was called, and the cover it had, on release (as per the Rules).
At present the cover images has "Naked Weapon: Special Collector's Edition" but the title has the Edition as "Platinum Edition" (so one of the is wrong).
The recent contribution has the "Platinum Edition" cover BUT it is the inner cover, not the slipcase (which also has "Platinum Edition" but is different) so I cannot vote Yes even if it's right.
The all seem to have the same EAN (5-032438-509386) but if it's the Platinum I must try to scan mine (reflective PITA slipcase) and if it was originally called the "Special..." the title needs changing for the central database (and I'll lock my "Platinum..." version locally).
TIA to anyone who got this back in 2003! | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

I got my copy in July 2004 and it has a metalised slip case titled Platinum Edition.

| Posted: | | | | I got mine last year and it has a slightly different front cover than the one in the database. I have scanned the cover and back and distributed them but so far people don't like them, but it's what I have received when ordered from play.com last year I still think my scans are much more detailed than the ones in the database (no offense)... I think I was the recent contributor Don't blame me for this. I only wanted to help (I am new here). Maybe they changed the front cover over the years? | | | Last edited: by Bartman |

Quote: I still think my scans are much more detailed than the ones in the database (no offense). Yes, they are - I totally agree they are much better scans, but sadly I can't vote Yes (by the Rules) without sources and reasons for the change... especially since I know that is the inner cover you scanned and the slip cover is different (because I have it!) ... looks like I have the one dfmorgan has but I really would like to know where the present scan came from before deciding on the definitive cover/title. This is why I would like to know where the original scan came from and whether it was really the first cover for the UPC (inwhich case the title must change!) | | | It is dangerous to be right in matters where established men are wrong |

| Posted: | | | | Not that this helps much but it is getting very interesting.
There is a Special Collector's Edition in the DB already EAN 5032438509447, this has a greenish cover with the cover lady in a slightly different pose and is apparently a single disc.

| Posted: | | | | Hi :-)
Funny I don't own a slip cover. Mine was received like this when I ordered it from play.com back in April 2006. I even had to return it because the case was cracked and the replacement had no slip cover either. I can see that they have a different cover picture up there and yes they also have the single disc edition.

Hmm it is possible to only contribute the new cover or the new back? Or do they always go together? |
