Scan through your collection and look for movies that has an incomplete cast listed.

Then add them!

There shouldn't be many, in my 300+ collection, I only found five.  Went ahead and did the crew for those except for BluRay Ghost Rider because I couldn't locate it.

I've started going through and auditing my Overviews too to make sure they match the existing cover scan.

Doesn't CoO need source?  I thought it did but I'm seeing a lot of CoO submissions with lots of yes votes but no source.

For me it depends.  I feel pretty confident voting yes for "Mothra versus Godzilla" without a source.  But I wouldn't touch LOTR with a ten foot pole.

Seems like the Overviews tend to be out-of-whack.  So far, I'm up to the O's in my collection numbering 378 and I've just found my 12th DVD with an overview that doesn't match the rear cover scan.

18 new contributions, all but five of which were for updating the Overview.  There were others I found but the change was deemed insignificant.

That puts my collection at a 5% error rate before I started my audit.

I started a full audit of my collection 4 weeks ago (reached # 54 of 659 so far  )

I'm going through EVERY detail - watching opening and end credits of EVERY movie and verifying technical data using DVDInfo Pro. It's a timeconsuming job, but it gives me great pleasure to know that I give valuable database information for others to enjoy.

I wish more people would contribute full profiles with as much details as possible, instead of just hurrying with the basics to get an accepted contribution (so far only 1 profile was 100% correct before my audit).

Keep on rockin'!!

Having lots of rather odd titles in my collection, I have loads of titles that has an incomplete cast list. The mind boggles at updating them all. And, ironically, the very first I noticed that was incomplete was Mission Impossible, Season 2 (original series).

Ah, good to know.

I do wish there was an easy way to find which profiles in my database have child profiles, and an easy way to d/l them. I often see updates removing data because there are child profiles, and I think to myself that I need to d/l those. But of course, when the update is complete I have totally forgotten which profiles I was supposed to download...

Add the child profiles by inserting the DVD's and adding by Disc ID.  Then manually assign them as a child object to the parent profile.

Yes, but with c:a 3000 titles I first need to identify which ones need children added, then dig out the actual DVDs...
