Grounded for Life: Season 5 has a street date of 9/25/07. Best Buy has an exclusive window and started selling it 8/28/07. Which street date should be in the online DB. As of right now there is only 1 UPC code.

How was that Best Buy Rolling Stones set handled in the DB?

AIUI if the 'general' release has the same UPC as the 'exclusive' release the date of release should be for the exclusive.
I do fully understand when this isn't the case though as the profile may be submitted by someone who was unaware of its previous exclusive status. I know I make it very clear in any contribution notes if that's the reason I'm setting the date earlier so that in future people can check previous contribution notes and not keep on trying to change it.

Of course if the 'general' release has a different UPC from the 'exclusive' release then they are treated separately as usual
