DEEP DISCOUNT and
OVERSTOCK.COM list is as

Jack Ryan 3-Pack

AMAZON has it as:

Jack Ryan 3 Pack (The Hunt for Red October / Patriot Games / Clear and Present Danger) (1992)

BESTPRICES.COM has it as:

Hunt for Red October/Patriot Games/Clear and Present Danger

DVDEMPIRE.COM has it as:

Jack Ryan 3 Pack, The (Triple Feature)

Locally I am going to make it Jack Ryan: Triple Feature but I need to know what to contribute to the online.

Hunt for Red October / Patriot Games / Clear and Present Danger: Triple Feature ?
Hunt for Red October: Patriot Games: Clear and Present Danger: Triple Feature ?
Triple Feature: Hunt for Red October / Patriot Games / Clear and Present Danger ?
Triple Feature: Hunt for Red October: Patriot Games: Clear and Present Danger ?

Any suggestions??

Hunt for Red October/Patriot Games/Clear and Present Danger might be correct, but like you, if it were in my collection I'd probably go with Jack Ryan Triple Feature.

As more and more of this type of packaging/marketing becomes prevalent, we probably need to figure out some sort of standard way to do them though.

Some might wish to call it the Tom Clancey Triple Feature, or 2 Harrison Fords and a Sean Connery 3 Pack.

Come on, let's not overthink this.  It is about the Jack Ryan character.  Call it what it is:  Jack Ryan Triple Feature.

Or, x/y/z: Triple Feature using the Edition field.

I think IDEALLY the x/y/z: Triple Feature is the right answer...BUT I don't think there is enough room. So I supect Jack Ryan Triple Feature is as close as we can get now.

I have UPC: 097361-241449, which is three Audrey Hepburn movies...the cover is very similar to the Jack Ryan one and is titled: Triple Feature - Audrey Hepburn.

So, are you saying that if the title doesn't fit we're free to make up a title that's nowhere on the cover?

Hey Gunnar, I didn't start the idea...Ken did back at IVS. He came up with a couple of really creative one that wouldn't fit, back in the days of the really ITTY BITTY title field.

This is what is witten on the cover. Jack Ryan is not written, so this is not the title.

Father Ted, pretty obvious. The Series part gets ugly. Is it still on the air?

FWIW

There's a similar Jack Ryan set in the UK, this one has Mr Torso's three plus "The Sum of All Fears". If you want to take a look it's 5-014437-837233. In the online, this one is titled

"Tom Clancy DVD Box Set - Special Edition"

not one of those words appears on the Slip Case!

Interestingly DVDP appears to be able to handle

"The Hunt for Red October / Patriot Games / Clear and Present Danger / The Sum Of All Fears: Quadruple Feature"

Anybody know how many characters can the title field hold?
Chris
