| Posted: | | | | Don't do it! Sure it sounds like a good idea, but the movie doesn't hold up to the test of time. Oh wait, I tried this on another forum and.... have fun. |

I could only see the DVD photos as being an issue because they are clearly shopped. However, when I viewed the FAQ, one part raised a big red flag: "All of our DVDs are NEW and SEALED and have no subtitles of any kind and are fully in english." |

The biggest red flag (besides that they are DVDs which are not available anywhere else) is always the following on such a site's FAQ: Quote: Do your DVD's play on all players? Yes. They are region free and will play on your DVD player. | | |

| Posted: | | | | Hi Guys i'm new to this forum so i will shoot myself by saying get Howard the Duck!. I was very wary about purchasing this title myself due to its relatively small release, i was expecting a poor near VHS trasfer with a dolby stereo at best soundtrack. But to my suprise the image is beautiful and crisp on my 42" plasma and the sound is great. the special features are laclustre and of very poor image quality but what the hell :-) Howard the duck is a perfect example of 80's cheese with a great cast including Tim Robbins and the lovely Lea Thompson. any true 80's fan wants this movie in their collection. |

Xploited Cinema tend to be good for picking up odd imports, particularly if you want stuff from varying localities (or countries where everyone seems to want obscene shipping like I found with Italy). | | | Adelaide Movie Buffs (info on special screenings, contests, bargains, etc. relevant to Adelaideans... and contests/bargains for other Aussies too!) |

Or just wait for the legitimate release that comes out in February. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |

Sadly there isn't much info on what they've done with the disc, so I suspect they haven't done a great deal in terms of sprucing it up. | | | IVS Registered: January 2, 2002 |
