| Posted: | | | | This has been almost finished for quite some time. But as usual, if something is almost finished, I get bored with it and start working on something else - a JavaScript debugging, profiling & instrumentation toolkit, in case you might wonder. Yeah, I know, you don't. But I like to brag. Anyway, back on topic and on with the show... What's This?A front end for the Invelos Credit Lookup Tool (CLT), which presents the CLT data in a more useful manner. Credit Lookup Plus will download the data from the Invelos CLT and display them grouped by common names and original titles. | Posted: | | | | Looks good, but I always get the message: "You are not logged in to the Invelos website".
However, I am logged in (permanently), and even have a page open.
edit: I got in after logging in as administrator (in IE8, on Vista). | | | Hans | | | Last edited: by Staid S Barr |

| Posted: | | | | Thank you for your continued support to the community, Matthias. I really value your additions (Name Variants plugin is still one of my favorites and helped me a lot in cleaning up the database). I'll give this new addition a spin.
Name Variants plugin + Credit Lookup Plus could be a great combo to quickly identify the most commonly used name and use the "credited as" feature to improve local linking ... no? | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |

| Posted: | | | | Hi Matthias, excellent tool you made there. Is it possible that you get it running with the default browser of the system and not exclusively with the IE? This would be great | | | It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up! But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

That shouldn't be necessary unless you have launched Credit Lookup Plus as Administrator as well. The Invelos sign-in can only be shared between Internet Explorer and Credit Lookup Plus if both applications are running from the same user account on your computer. This would be great No. Credit Lookup Plus is an HTML Application (HTA) and as such is based on the IE engine via mshta.exe. If you refer to the Invelos sign-in procedure: The only thing I could do is to make the sign-in part of the program itself. I cannot reuse an existing sign-in cookie from another browser like Opera or Firefox (well, theoretically I probably could, but that's Hackersville). Since that means that you still have to do the sign-in, I see no benefit in it. On the contrary, as a user, I would be reluctant to directly enter sensitive information I share with Invelos into a third party program. | | | Matthias |

Thanks Matthias. You really do justice to your username. |

The Invelos sign-in can only be shared between Internet Explorer and Credit Lookup Plus if both applications are running from the same user account on your computer. That's what I did to try and solve the problem (running Credit Lookup Plus as Administrator), but more likely logging out of DVDP and then in again was the real problem solver. | | | Hans |

I think most of the people cannot look for it from "Website Discussion" forum. Why do you think people won't find it here? Besides that, Credit Lookup Plus isn't a plugin, it is a tool related to the Invelos website. As such I think the Website Discussion forum is the most appropriate place to announce it. | | | Matthias |

| Posted: | | | | I would just like to mention CLTPlus appears to be incompatible with windows 7 (or IE8).
I'm running Windows 7 professional RTM with the integrated IE8 as the only installed browser. Invelos is configured to keep me logged in, but the tool doesn't detect it. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

I tested Credit Lookup Plus with IE8, thus if there is any imcompatibility it has to be with Windows 7. Anyone else using Credit Lookup Plus on Windows 7? You may try as Staid S Barr did (on Vista) and sign-out of the Invelos website and then sign-in back again. Also make sure that you restart Credit Lookup Plus after doing so and that you run IE8 and Credit Lookup Plus from the same user account. | | | Matthias | | | Last edited: by goodguy |
