We've identified an error in version 1.1.0 which causes newly added entries to not save properly onto the iOS devices when synchronizing with DVD Profiler for Windows.

**UPDATE **
Version 1.1.1 has been approved by Apple and should be showing for download shortly.

Thanks for the quick fix.

Will this update restore the missing profiles or will it just stop further profiles from disappearing?

If the profiles are appearing in DVD Profiler for Windows, which they should be, then they will synchronize properly with 1.1.1.  A sync will be required - they are not transferring properly with 1.1.0.

If you have pending additions which are not transferring to desktop, please hold off synchronizing until 1.1.1.  At that time, they will transfer properly.

In order to limit the number of people affected by this issue, we've temporarily removed the app from the app store until this update is approved.  It will return immediately when the update is approved by Apple.

Any estimate on how long Apple will take before the fix?
Our iPads were temp scrubbed by this.
It would be real nice if they could have posted the old version until the new was approved.

Unfortunately it's not possible to post old versions without waiting for the approval process.  It should take a few days at most.

If you are on a PC check your recycle bin, it put's old versions there rather than over-writing them.

Thanks for the info.  I had downloaded the iPad app a while ago, but just got around to sharing my collection on my PC and configuring the app and trying to sync my collection today.  It downloaded profiles but still only  showed zero discs in my collection.  I was beating my head against the wall.

The Recycle Bin suggestion is sound. Unless of course you are a closet "Neat-nic".
Ken's Code is so sound, as soon as I was done updating I emptied my Recycle Bin.

Obviously an honest mistake in coding that will be fixed soon, from now on I will leave my Recycle Bin until all software has been tested. In the meantime, my Wife still has the working version of Profiler on her iPad - can I sync with her if I put her IP in while she is on Wi-Fi? I am afraid to try...

It's been requested to be able to sync between devices instead of just the desktop app, but so far it's still a requested feature.

Yup. I must be the Luckiest Guy on here. Ha, ha.

I was the one that put it on, had no problems, got it on my Wife's iPad too...

THEN I did the Update and attempted to Sync mine again.

My Wife on the other hand, for some reason, has decided to wait for the Update...
(Yes, her's still works fine)

Great. Can't wait to have my full collection back.

One question before I try to sync again. I noticed that the app (1.1.0) still has "send changes" enabled, but I didn't make any changes on my phone after the last sync that resulted in the loss of some profiles. I guess, I need to disable that option before syncing with the desktop again or risk deleting the missing profiles from the desktop instead of transferring them back to the app. Correct ?

No, leave the send changes option on - it would only delete entries if you selected the delete option for those entries on the iOS device.
