| Posted: | | | | Not quite, but the moon was exceptionally bright yesterday. So I decided to pull out my camera, and have some photoshop fun. It reminded me of watching Space: 1999 as a 10 year old. ![](https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/_FTfhYxoMIIE/TYYp_mSuIzI/AAAAAAAADDw/60oAJcwi9lI/moon.jpg) Sorry if I got someone's hope up for a remake ![](/images/emoticons/devilish.gif) | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | I read it was so bright because the moon was closer to earth than it had been in 20 years time, making it appear 14% larger than usual. |

| Posted: | | | | I read the same thing Deejay, but I missed that point, when I got home at 3 A.M. ![](/images/emoticons/embarrassed.gif) the moon was already much higher. I already own the R1 boxset on DVD, but otherwise I would have gotten the Blu-Ray versions as well. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | I guess if you lived on the Moon the Earth would also be 14% Larger.. ![](/images/emoticons/w00t.gif) | | | In the 60's, People took Acid to make the world Weird. Now the World is weird and People take Prozac to make it Normal.

| Posted: | | | | I wanted to make a pic, but was too tired when I got home, I fell a sleep. ![](/images/emoticons/sad.gif) Now I have to wait another 20 years, and then I'm really really old ![](/images/emoticons/sad.gif) | | | Unfortunately, I can't use DVDprofiler at the moment due to lack of a Windows computer. |

| Posted: | | | | Well Kat, why I am not surprised ![](/images/emoticons/devilish.gif) Actually, I think the R1 boxset looks quite nice, so I won't be double dipping on this one. Not that I haven't done double, triple, or quadrupel dipping in the past already Edwin, if it's not too cloudy in Holland, go outside. The moon still looks great. I did some more shots 20 minutes ago. Funny enough, my cheapest lens gave the best results. It does have a higher zoom factor, which could explain that. ![](https://lh4.googleusercontent.com/_FTfhYxoMIIE/TYZzxNUN2jI/AAAAAAAADEE/R98PvTfK-Mc/s720/Moon2.jpg) | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | Nice shot of the moon, very clear! And also nice composition on the Space 2011 mock-up you've made. Did you use photoshop to put all the elements together? I don't own Space 1999 yet on DVD, so I'll be going straight for the Blu-ray set eventually ![](/images/emoticons/grin.gif) | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |

First processing (raw conversion, sharpening, lighting correction) was done in Lightroom. Then the rest of the elements were put together in Photoshop. | | | View my collection at http://www.chriskepolis.be/home/dvd.htm

| Posted: | | | | Mabye I should start getting into Lightroom. I've heard some of my friends who are heavily into photography use it but I've never even thought of giving it a try myself, thinking I already had trouble using Photoshop correctly ![](/images/emoticons/sweating.gif) | | | Blu-ray collection DVD collection My Games My Trophies |
