| Posted: | | | | I have purchased the ad free version of Pic2Shop, but DVD Profiler does not recognise it and keeps asking for the free version. Do you have any plans to allow DVD Profiler to choose the scanner app or have I just wasted 99c |

| Posted: | | | | You wasted a life changing $0.99 . No, seriously, I highly doubt Ken will support the paid Ad Free version of Pic2Shop. That would require people to purchase an additional App in order to use DVD Profiler for iOS and that's just not good business sense. | | | My WebGenDVD online Collection |

| Posted: | | | | I don't think supporting the paid app would require anyone to use the paid app instead of the free version. Obviously, I have no idea how DVDP is programmed, but I suppose all Ken would have to do is change the app from checking if P2S free is installed to checking if P2S free or P2S paid is installed. |

| Posted: | | | | You could have both but DVDP on the iPhone is calling only the free version. Ken's clearly checking to see if the free version is installed so maybe he can also check to see if the paid version is installed as well. |

However, I'm not sure if that works with the iPad 2 yet. The current release of DVDP predates the iPad 2. |

But just to be clear, you don't use the pic2shop app to scan with. Not directly. You scan with the DVD Profiler app and it uses the pic2shop for the actual scanning. So if you're starting pic2shop to scan, you're doing it wrong. Really, all you need to do is download the pic2shop app and forget about it. You really shouldn't need to ever fire up that app again.
