Amazing piece of kit to turn ikit into a universal remote. They say a HD version for ipad coming soon.

Recommend it highly. Unlimited remotes and also learning remote.
Just put my 15 + remotes into it and loving it.
Beats purchasing an expensive Pronto device.

This is not a selling ploy, just a pitch for a very good HT piece of equipment.
I also have the bonus of having my collection (profiler IOS) on the same ipod, so a one stop shop for the HT setup.

I looked at the Harmony One and didn't see any Bluetooth support.  How do you control the PS3 with it?

Yes, I have the PS3 adapter for the Harmony.  Works great for the most part.  It does seem like it goes to sleep if there's no activity because sometimes it takes it a second or two to respond to the remote.  I'm not sure if that's how the device is or if I have a bad unit.  I'm investigating that now.  But other than that, it's fantastic!

The only remote I've found so far with Bluetooth support is the Blu-Link remote.  I tried one of those.  And for the most part, it worked really well.  But I did have a few issues with it that just made it frustrating to use.  For example, if I had the TV active and switched to the PS3, the volume buttons controlled the sound on the TV.  I would have to push the receiver button, then the PS3 button to have the volume control the receiver.  The other thing I didn't like is it can't be programmed from the PC.  if you wanted to re-arrange buttons for whatever reason, your down to learning from the original remote.  I LOVE how I plug my Harmony One into the PC and can tweak to my heart's content, then update the remote. Other than that, it was a great cheap solution.

Getting back on topic! Here's the FLPR app for anyone interested.  I seriously thought about going this route.  But at the time, I was the only person in the family with an iPhone.  So if I wasn't there, it would be useless for people.  If you're the only person in your household I suppose that's not really an issue.  The other downside was the PS3.  This has no PS3 support.  That was my deal breaker.  I didn't want one universal remote, plus one more.  I'm now down to 1 remote for my TV, receiver, HD DVD player, PS3, DVR and lighting (I installed a Lutron remote controlled dimmer switch so I can raise or lower the lights from the comfort of my seat!).

I highly recommend Harmony remotes now.  With the Blu-link, I had to push the TV button on the remote, then push power, then switch inputs, push the receiver button, push the button to set that to the right input, then push the PS3 button and turn that on.  With my Harmony, I push Watch Movie.  The remote makes sure all the proper equipment is turned on and set to the proper inputs.  If I decide to watch TV later, I push Watch TV.  The remote not only sets up the TV properly for my DVR, but it will also power off the receiver and PS3.  When I'm done for the night, I push the Off button and it sends the Off command to all my equipment.  It's very slick and simple.  Especially if all your devices have discrete On/Off power commands.  And if you do have a piece of equipment that only supports the toggle function for power, the remote will remember the state of the device so it knows if it's currently on or off.

Add that to their massive database of devices (all my equipment was already in their database), the ability to set it up on the computer, the back lighting (the Blu-Link only lights up the 6 device buttons on top), the way the buttons on the remote all have a distinctive feel so it's easy to find the proper button without looking and so on, I don't think you'd regret your purchase.
