| Posted: | | | | Hello there.... A proposed suggestion to the Desktop Software and the Database: A new entry field for New or Used Condition.
In the Personal Information section, and within Purchase data, I would propose if an additional field could be created in this section for indicating if the user purchased the DVD as in either New or Used Consition. It could either be a "radio button" with "New" as the default, and "Used" as a second choice. Or possible just have a "click box" labeled as "Used", with the default of blank (to assume New), that you can click to Turn On if the DVD was purchased Used.
It would be helpful to me, and maybe others, to determine how many in a collection (or percentage of) were puchased Used instead of New.
What do others think about this proposal? Thanks for your repsonse! |

| Posted: | | | | I agree this could easily be done with tags... but I wouldn't mind it being added to the Purchase information. | | | Pete |

--------------- I agree. I'm not against it. Just don't see the need. Still, if others would use it, then why not? | | | Get the CSVExport and Database Query plug-ins here. Create fake parent profiles to organize your collection. |

Well agaiin I am learning something new to me about DVD Profiler software! After reading yours and others comments about using Tags, I checked into this and read the Help on how to use this feature. I have created a "Purchase Condition" tag with New and Used sub-tags. After going through several titles, checking either New or Used, I now understand how to use and Filter for this feature. Thanks for pointing this out! (This will work for me for now. However, I still think it would be slicker if the Purchase Condition was included with the other Purchase data under Personal Information). |

Amazon Amazon Canada BestBuy (new) BestBuy (used) eBay (ripped)
You are free to do this however you want. | | | Hans |
