| Posted: | | | | It looks like Warner Archive and Sony Choice Collection MOD DVDs are included in the DB based on their UPCs. I believe DVD-Rs should still have disc IDs as well. I was able to place a DVD-R I made into my drive and was able to create a profile with DVDP.
I suppose if it has a UPC or a Disc ID and was manufactured legally, it can be contributed. | | | My DVD/Blu-ray Collection My Letterboxd Page |

Do not contribute "bootleg", other illegal DVDs, or privately created DVDs DVD-R discs are OK as long as they are legally licensed, professionally produced discs. --------------- |

Like if I made a dvd-r of my band's shows and videos, my copy would have a different disc ID than yours. I have a couple in my local for customs, but have never submitted any. Seems like MOD would run into the same issues and should only be submitted by UPC which will stay the same from copy to copy. I'm also almost certain I've added custom discs by ID from the same batch of blanks, and never had any say the disc ID was in use. |

| Posted: | | | | The disc-id is a product of the mastering process. All disc produced from the same master file will have the same disc-id whether pressed (DVD) or burnt (DVD-R). | | | Registered: February 10, 2002 |

So if I burn the same master file data to multiple blanks, they will all take on the same disc ID? Interesting, thanks. |
