It would be great if I could alter the position of thumbnails when viewing my collection. I like to view by title in alphabetical order, however, sometimes in the case of movies that have sequels they will be chronologically out of order according to the series. For example, Anchorman 2 then Anchorman...or Ocean's Eleven, followed by Ocean's Thirteen, then Ocean's Twelve.

This can be achieved by altering the sort-title (Possible from the PC version only).
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Lewis' response is correct. In order to accomplish the reordering that you're asking about, change the Sort Title on the PC version via DVD->Personalize.

Well I guess therein lies the problem, because I own a mac not a pc. Is there a plan to rollout a mac version for the 50% of the world that doesn't use a pc?

Where did you get this statistic? According to Softpedia and other sources., Mac OS X is only running on just over 7% of computers, whereas Windows is running on over 91%.

By the way, a Mac is a PC (Personal Computer).

My apologies greyghost. I didn't realize that I was surrounded by people who feel the need to fact check arbitrary numbers like 50%, when clearly I was using it as a means of emphasizing that there is a large chunk of people who don't run Windows. And I'd be willing to bet that if you filtered your results to show ONLY computers used in a home, not office buildings, then it would be a lot closer to 50/50.

Either way, you're not helping.

All I'm asking for is a feature where I can tap, hold, then move the thumbnail.

The Windows program is currently the only way to adjust the sort titles.  You may wish to make a post in the feature requests forum to request this addition to the iOS version.

We do have many users who run DVD Profiler for Windows on their Macs using either Parallels or VMWare.

The hyperbole in the post prompted the fact checking and response.

I fully support your original request of having the means to change sort titles in the IOS version.

As one of those users (Parallels), I can say that everything works just great.  It's not an ideal solution.  I'd much rather have a Mac version.  I'm sure all the Mac users would.  But it is a working solution which is far better than no solution at all.  It runs in Windows on a Mac just as well as Windows on a PC (PCs that aren't Macs of course).

Correct, but the important thing is that the THREAD you are posting in is titled "Edit thumbnail location" and NOT "How about a OS-X version?"

Source??
In my experience the only professional segments where Apple has the majority of users is in the art departments of the print-media and advertisement agencies.
I'd suppose it to be the other way round: The rising market-share of Apple products in the consumer sector will be the gate-opener in the professional market (Simply because those people that are supposed to work with the machines are getting used to the "new" OS).
It all seems so stupid, it makes me want to give up!
But why should I give up, when it all seems so stupid?

Oh my God! I know the title of the thread...I created it. Are you unable to follow the progression of the conversation? I really don't care whether or not there is a mac version for my computer. I just want the ability to modify the position of a thumbnail when using my phone or tablet.
